Mary Lazo
Hello! I’m Mary.
I founded Mary Lazo Handcrafts in October 2019, after many attempts at unfulfilling ventures hustles. You can usually find me working in my little home-crafting studio in Austin, Texas. That’s where all my pieces are individually designed, sculpted, stamped, backed, and packaged by hand. I’m a cosmetologist by trade, but since I was a kid I’ve always had a passion for making things with my hands.
When I began Mary Lazo Handcrafts, I was in search of a way to generate an income and keep me way more busy at home, as I have a toddler. I was very determined to create home decorations and accessories because of some family traditions, but mind change suddenly happen with a “tiny fashion woman inner voice” and the first polymer clay statement earrings were born!
I hope to continue exploring this medium and to include many more lovely accessories for you! Polymer clay is totally limitless when it comes to designs, so let’s see what else comes out!
By the way, I want to let you know that I’ll be working on many other materials and accessories to be posting soon.
